PoppyForge steel product orders
Products showing in stock at the time of purchase will be delivered to you within 2 to 3 weeks of that purchase. If your order goes outside of the 3 week dispatch period and you have not been notified of dispatch by email, this could be due to a seasonal delay. Our team will dispatch your item as soon as possible when it becomes available.
If an item you have ordered which was showing as 'in stock' at the point of order is now showing as 'currently unavailable', please rest assured that you will still receive your item. Items showing a future date at the time of purchase will be delivered within 2 weeks of that date. Please see the individual product page for up to date information.
Delivery times and stock
Deliveries are made from Monday to Saturday, and typically will arrive between 9 am and 6 pm.
We tend to be extremely busy during our peak periods (e.g. in December), where dispatches may take longer.
We endeavour to make sure our advertised stock information is correct at the time of order. If however, items do become out of stock, we will contact you as soon as possible with either a new expected delivery date, a product replacement or a refund.
In the event of goods being received which appear to have been visibly damaged in transit, you should either not accept the delivery or sign for the order as damaged. If this occurs please contact us as soon as possible.

Postage and packaging rates
P&P costs are included for all UK mainland addresses.
Delivery to parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and Hebrides, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and the Isle of Wight will incur an estimated postage charge of £1.50/kg. We will contact you if there will be additional delivery costs for your order. If you are not happy to proceed and have already paid, we shall issue you a full refund.
If we need to split your order into multiple deliveries, we will not charge you any additional P&P costs.

Amending a delivery address
If you are not likely to be at home when your items are due to be delivered (see individual product pages or your account page) then please let us have an alternative delivery address as soon as possible prior to dispatch.
Sometimes we may find it necessary to split your order into multiple deliveries (e.g. if you order items that will be dispatched at different times or from different warehouses). We will notify you via email on such occasions and include the individual tracking numbers. If you still find an item is missing, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will not charge you for additional P&P costs, even if we split your order into multiple deliveries.
Some of the items we sell are seasonal and may not be available to be dispatched straight away. Some items however, may be available to pre-order.
Items available for pre-order will have the expected delivery date advertised on their respective product page on our website. Please note that these times may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances, such as product availability or COVID related restrictions. We will contact you if there are any significant changes to the expected delivery date of a product you have ordered.
To pre-order an item online, simply add your chosen item to your shopping basket as normal and proceed with the payment. Payment will be processed at the time of order.
Items listed as Currently Unavailable
If a product is listed as currently unavailable, this means that you are unable to purchase that item at the present time. It may mean that we are out of stock and are not sure if we can get any more, or it may mean that we have completely sold out for the current season.
If you have already pre-ordered an item that subsequently changes to currently unavailable, don't worry! You can still expect your item on the published date seen when the order was placed – it simply means that we cannot sell any more. We will get in touch with you if there is any significant change to your order or delivery date.
For some products, you can register your email address for notification of when a product is available to order (either when it is back in stock or available to pre-order). Please note, we cannot guarantee any product will definitely become available to purchase again.
Often towards the end of the season and due to the popularity of certain items, we have quite a quantity of items in our current catalogue that become unavailable to purchase. For the most up-to-date stock information on a product, please see the individual product pages on our website.

We will send most items via a tracked service. When your order has been dispatched and you receive an email notification from us, we will detail in the email if your item is tracked and the reference number of your parcel. You'll be able to click through directly to the courier website from our email and track the status of your parcel.
